Off The Beaten Track in South Korea - The Best Green Tea Field, Boseong
When you first visit to Korea, where do you want to go?
Seoul? Busan? or the other famous big cities?
Let's off the beaten track at this time on the Boseong, with a bracing green tea field.

I have lived in Seoul quite a long time for my university, however, Seoul is not a place you can get pleasure of breathing with a fresh air. So me and my girlfriend decided to go Boseong, very southern part of Korea, where it is famous for the green tea field.
Here I get some tips for you. It will make you find out immediately why the place is famous when you just get there.
From here the entrance, our refreshing was started. You can see the big trees alongside with the main road. If you come this place after you get suffered from the crowd of metropolitan, inhaling and exhaling the air slowly. In short, you will feel the atmosphere is complete opposite. Seeing the blue sky, you can also enjoy the invigorating southern air which is lighter and cleaner than Seoul's. It is so fresh that stimulates you as becoming healthy even if you just breathe in the middle of the field.
There are many trails you can choose. Some trails are quite long so it takes more than one hour that leads you walk whole surrounding areas; others are relatively short but you can still take a good walk.
These areas are well-decorated by a group of trees, stairs, and flowers. Wherever you see, you can notice that everything in here is exact same as a fairy tale described pure of nature. A masterpiece-like sky fitted well in the scenery, the greenness here and there made vivid signature of the field.
Into the main green tea field, you might confuse as if you are lost your way in a dense forest. The plantation gives you a great spectacle. I have been here several times when I felt exhausted in particular, and it always made me fully charged.
On the last time I came here, few years ago, there was no route for up to the top, but there is a new way at this time. So we could go up there enjoyed the panorama and even we can see the far to the sea. Mixed up with cherry blossoms, parti-colored trees, and tea field makes variegated image, even more feels like exotic.
Since Boseong Green Tea Field was built in 1957, more than 120 tons of green teas are produced every year, and the place is operated by a major tour place. It is the only tea field opened to the public. A number of ads, soap operas and movies have been also taken in here.
From Seoul to Boseong it takes around 4 hours' drive but it is worth your while to go there and look around. However short may be, the moment is enough to fill you up with a gentle breeze and greenery. It will give you the unique experience you can only feel and enjoy at this place. Whenever you plan to come to Korea and have enough time to travel around, keep in mind the green tea place on Boseong is waiting.
Most tourists are in trouble with finding a place where it makes them enjoy pure nature. Because most of package tours are concentrating on Seoul, the captial, or Busan, the second biggest city in Korea. Moreover, the information are too focused on these place to make you hard to get useful tips for off the beaten track. I wish those tips above will help you enjoy the hidden place.
